Traffic Control Pathway

Learn the basics of traffic control and take your skills to the next level with our introductory and advanced courses. After completing this pathway, you will be armed with all the skills you need to control traffic and administer proper first aid & CPR/AED, including:

  • Avoid tie-ups and delays
  • Prioritize public traffic over construction site processes
  • Protect construction crews and the public by regulating traffic flow
  • Use hand signals and communicate effectively
  • Use personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Cultivate an awareness of risks and authoritative presence
  • De-escalation
  • Basic First Aid & CPR/AED (In-person Training Required)
